Yesterday was UN World Diabetes Day. I was shown statistics of the Health Boards within Mid-Scotland and Fife. I find it upsetting that in Scotland out of our almost 30,000 Type 1 Diabetes sufferers there is only 696 insulin pumps. This is a real deficit and must be addressed.
Yesterday I visited ScotRail who told me all about how they’re preparing for the winter. I urge all train users to sign up for the Winter Alerts system which plans to let you know in advance if trains are running less regularly or are cancelled.
